From November 5-9, Alyssa attended the American Musicological Society’s 2025 Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a student grantee. After being accepted to present at the conference from the inaugural AMS Explore cohort, a program designed for “rising scholars,” Alyssa presented her research, “The Distortion of Memory: Recasting the Fourth Movement of Dmitri Shostakovich’s Eighth String Quartet.”
